Neighbourhood Watch:

Find your local scheme

About Us

Neighbourhood Watch itself began life in the UK over 30 years ago in response to rising crime, but today, as times change, it covers all aspects of keeping safe.

In 1983, Northamptonshire Police set up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme which was seen as one of the first in the country. Five years later, in 1988, the Northamptonshire Neighbourhood Watch Association was formed to establish and run the scheme as an independent organisation.

Are you a coordinator of a Neighbourhood Watch scheme already in Northamptonshire?

If so, there is a major campaign across the county to encourage you and fellow coordinators to gain the benefits of using the website through the “Sign In” portal.

Quite simply, the website and its tools - specifically designed for and by Neighbourhood Watch – can reduce the administrative burden; speed up the distribution of messages, and establish a larger and more powerful network than we have ever had before! And it is a system and database safer and secure than anything we might have at home.

To help you explore what is available, we have produced a unique guide: click here.

Alternatively, are you interested in setting up your own scheme? If so, simply enter your postcode in to the postcode search box above to find schemes around you.

By entering your postcode you have the option to apply to join a scheme or send the local contact a message. You can also see scheme information, police details, policing priorities, crimes and outcomes for your area.

Join The UK's Largest Voluntary Movement

Once registration is complete, you will automatically receive community alert messages from Northamptonshire Police and Neighbourhood Watch. You can revise and add to the range of messages you receive.

When registering, you have the option to join a scheme in your area or map your own scheme if you cannot see it on the list of available schemes. If you have any issues signing up, please contact support.

If you are already registered, click here to sign in and add a scheme.
